We live in an artificial world, with digital media and what seems like a million things pulling for our attention. But we thirst for something real.
Nature is real and what happens when you spend a few hours in nature?
- Anxiety, depression, and heart rate decrease
- Mood is elevated
- You feel energized, more connected and be more present.
- You leave with clarity and the ability to be more creative.
Nature heals….
It allows us to slow down, reconnect with our self, tune into what’s around us without the media and our digital devices competing for our attention.
And yet…
Do you actually take the time to go outside and slow down?
I know it’s hard… life can get in the way, even with our best intentions.
When you spend time in nature it will change you. It will give you answers you need to hear. In today’s society we are getting pulled in a million different directions and are stretched too thin. We most likely have 2-3 devices distracting us. Fear of missing out lingers in the background, along with a toxic dose of comparison syndrome. These devices are taking us out of the present moment and into virtual reality that is not our own. Yet back to your reality – back to nature.
What are the active ingredients in a dose of nature?
- The ability to connect with your mind and body in a deeper level.
- Ability to slow down and reduce your stress.
- Clear the mind to be more engaged and creative.
- Focus on your breath vs. the next social media post or Netflix binge.
I have a solution…
I will be hosting programs that nest us into nature.
Because, let’s get real, you might not do it on your own!
When I’m feeling anxious, depressed or worried about things that I cannot control, I prescribe myself a dose of nature and the worries tend to drop away and what was ailing me 30 minutes prior is forgotten.
So…
I’m inviting you to join me this summer on adventures on an exquisite private piece of land very near Bozeman that will be heavily focused in nature. This is going to be an opportunity of lifetime. Details coming soon…. Wild West adventures in nature in some of the most beautiful places in the world.
In the meantime, get outside.
