I know that change (even if it’s for the better) can be challenging. Your personal life’s journey is a continuous experience that moves and changes with you as new obstacles come your way.
Adding something new to your routine doesn’t have to feel overwhelming or life-altering. You can start small. Start with one thing to change, modify or add to your routine or diet. I know when I try to take more than I can chew; failure isn’t that far along behind it. When I start with one thing and develop that into a habit, then success comes with it.
If we pursue our goals one step, one day at time, then the achievement of our dreams fall into place easier and does not feel overwhelming.
You have to start building your resilience and will power to start saying ‘no’ to things that no longer serve you and say ‘yes’ to things that will move you towards your goals.
Examples of what to say ‘no’ to are:
- Foods that make you feel bad
- Toxic relationships
- Over committing yourself
Examples of what to ‘yes’ to are:
- Healthy foods that sustain you
- Relationships that make you feel full
- Saying no when you need rest
Emotional resilience varies from person to person and what are the ways we can strengthen the power to bounce back from adversities. You know what is best for you, especially if you have trained yourself to listen to your intuition.
Ever ask someone for advice and then immediately realize you already know what’s right? That’s the power of your intuition, but it’s hard to hear in the noise of daily life. Join us, (Rebecka Pearson from Yellowstone Wellness) and myself for our upcoming workshop on Emotional Resilience where we will provide valuable frameworks that give you clarity and confidence in your choices.
